I forgot to read the FAQ, I mean I did notice some mention about if you're not the copyright holder then you can't file a claim but these are blatantly copyrighted material, these were not uploaded by me.

These were not uploaded by me. I hate abandonware and warez and I didn't want these files to mar the image of the site. I know that the respective copyrighted holder has to file a complaint but these are blatantly copyrighted material.

In the case of *borrowing* materials, even movies, this works like a physical library. It does *not* infringe on copyright.
As for downloading, to *own forever* new material, it would look obviously dubious to anyone paying attention to what they put on their devices or computer - which I am, (and as I know many of the site users are) very conscientious/wary.
If you'll notice, there are (unfortunately) ample opportunities for committing piracy everywhere. I see them nearly every time I do a random search on a new book or movie. In all cases, people should exercise common, good sense and judgment. Not only are there consequences of legal ramification, (which should be enough deterrent for a normal person), the downloads often come along with malware, adware, and everything else to ruin your device before you even get caught.
As far as your post, you've drawn adequate attention to it.
PDpolice is right, posting about it is now making it look like someone trying to make someone trying to make a case/sully this site's reputation.
You don't want to make this site look bad, right?
I, for one, know this site is a reputable source, one which is valuable to many people, (including me - to whom it is *invaluable*). It is also a site with few resources such as having at its dispense constantly vigilant moderators.
I'm sure everyone is glad you pointed it out, but yes, there is a way to go about it. I know you said that you aren't the copyright holder, but since you are saying something here, why not just report to info@archive.org, as stated by PD above?
Thanks for being an honest person. I bet there is a reasonable solution/explanation.

You don't seem to get it. By facilitating these downloads, regardless if people download or not is still in violation of copyrigh laws. As for emailing, I have yet to receive a reply.
